Dacula Classical Academy embraces the rigorous, comprehensive academic goals that are set forth within the classical approach to education. It is highly language intensive, training students to read and to use and understand language. It uses reading and writing as a primary tool for learning and communicating with others. It trains the student’s mind to see the interconnectedness of information and ideas and to draw conclusions. It moves students from understanding operations in arithmetic to analyzing how numbers relate in higher level mathematics. It requires students to be self-disciplined and motivated to achieve excellence. It produces adults who can think independently and creatively, who can use their knowledge to solve problems, communicate competently, and lead effectively.
Dacula Classical Academy offers students in kindergarten through twelfth grade a comprehensive course of study that includes Latin, math, science, history, and language arts. Students will attain proficiency in these content areas and will graduate from high school meeting and exceeding all state requirements and will be exceptionally prepared for a post-secondary education. Academic classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45-3:00.
Dacula Classical Academy offers a balanced educational experience by including an array of elective classes from which students may choose in the areas of fine arts, practical arts, and technical arts. Elective classes are scheduled on a rotational basis so that there are a variety of topics to choose from, and a new schedule of elective classes is posted prior to each semester. Elective classes are offered on Fridays from 8:45-12:00.

Comprehensive Academic Program
Dacula Classical Academy offers a Comprehensive Academic Program which includes all five core academic classes (Latin, math, science, history, and language arts) taken each Tuesday and Thursday, as well as three elective classes on Friday.
Dacula Classical Academy offers families the option of taking only Friday elective classes. This is known as our Tapestry program and is a great option for families that are homeschooling who want to provide a classroom experience in a group setting that is difficult to duplicate at home, such as art, music, chorus, and drama.
